On this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart ‘Vampire’ makes the climb to #1 on the pop radio airplay chart.
The song garnered 16,104 spins during the August 27-September 2 tracking period. That number is up from the previous week’s count by 925 spins.
As a result of this, the song was able to overtake Taylor Swift’s ‘Cruel Summer,’ which slipped down to #2 this week.
‘Vampire’ becomes Rodrigo’s third pop airplay #1 after ‘Good 4 U’ ‘Drivers License.’
The news comes as she gears up to release her sophomore album called ‘Guts’ on September 8.

just listened to 2 her album through new zealand spotify!! and WOWWW!! the vocals, the lyrics, the PRODUCTION!!!! i hated on her sooo much for “SOUR” and had such high hopes for this album and boy… she DOMINATED! we may not like her, but her ability to produce RAW and MATURE tracks is what will keep her relevant. i can def she her being the next taylor swift or ariana grande.
